Chain Mail Swap - Birthday Card with Party Alphabet Dies

For the past few months, I have been taking pat in what has been known as a chain mail card swap with fellow Aussie SU demos. Do you remember the game Chinese Whispers you played as a child?

The message never quite came out the same at the end as it started. Well, cards in the chain mail swap can end up that way as well.

The first card in each blog hop is an original card and then it is posted to the next person on the list and they create their card, CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card they were mailed and post it onto the next person on the list and it continues on and on through the list. I've loved this challenge CASEing the cards every two weeks when they arrived in my letterbox. I miss the happy mail now the this round is over but we are starting a new one 🙂

For our blog hop today, we are starting with Tracy's card. I suggest you start with her blog post and then click through the link list and see the progression of the cards.

I struggled cutting into a sheet of DSP for this card as I was feeling very indecisive, so I made my own DSP by smashing ink pads onto my Stampin' Glass Matt and used a Stampin Spritzer to spread/blend the colour. I felt I needed a large sentiment to fill the space on my card and I didn't really have anything in my current collection that was fitting the bill the Party Alphabet Dies spell any word you like. "Yay, Let's Celebrate" works for many birthdays of various ages in my opinion and with this colour way could even be unisex card.
